In order to confirm your reservation we require 50% of the total rental rate and the other 50% 90 days prior to your arrival date. Special arrangements may be made upon request.

The rental rate includes your stay at the villa and the service of the staff members. The staff members include a chef, 2 servers (one of whom is a great bartender) and daily cleaning services.

What is the minimum numbers of nights I can rent the villa for?2017-08-07T22:27:23+00:00

5 nights during low season and 7 during high. Some exceptions can be made depending on the circumstances.

How many staff members are included in the rental rate?2017-08-07T22:26:55+00:00

The rental of the villa includes 4 staff members with groups of 14 and more guests and 3 staff members with groups of 13 or smaller.

How many meals a day will the staff prepare for us?2017-08-07T22:26:30+00:00

The staff prepares 2 meals a day and guests can select from breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Is the cost of the food and drinks included in the rental rate?2017-08-07T22:26:12+00:00

No. However, we offer pre-stocking services free of charge. The way it works is that a week before your arrival you send us your food & beverage list and we go to the store and get those items for you at cost. Once you arrive at the villa we provide you with the receipt and you reimburse the house manager for the cost of the purchase. A fee for gas may be applied depending on the distance and the frequency of the trips during the week of your stay.

Can a staff member get food and drinks while we are the villa?2017-08-07T22:25:47+00:00

Yes. In order to keep food fresh a staff member can go and get the food for you while you are at the villa. You can even go with them if you want to make the purchases yourself.

How far is the villa from a sandy beach?2017-08-07T22:25:25+00:00

Casa Azul Profundo is located 5-10 minutes walking distance from Playa de Mismaloya, which is one of the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta. There is a palapa style restaurant with beer and local food and the rest of the area is a stretch of sandy beach.

How far is the villa from the airport and the downtown?2017-08-07T22:25:02+00:00

The villa is located approximately 35 minutes away from the airport and 10-15 minutes away from old town Puerto Vallarta where the best restaurants and bars are located. You can get to the town either by bus (70 cents approx.) or by taxi which costs approximately $10-12 dollars per ride and can be divided amongst your group. A van can also be rented for transportation purposes.

If I don’t rent the whole house would I be sharing the villa with other people?2017-08-07T22:24:38+00:00

No. We only rent the villa to one group at a time. If you rent less than 15 bedrooms we simply lock the rooms

Do you offer transportation services?2017-08-07T22:24:17+00:00

We do not offer transportation services as part of the villa. However, we can make arrangements with a local van company that can pick you up at the airport and take you to the villa and vice versa for approximately $10-15 dollars a person depending on the number of guests.

We have capacity for 32-34 guests but we can make special accommodations for larger groups if needed.

Can I celebrate my wedding at the Villa and what is the capacity?2017-08-07T22:23:23+00:00

Yes. We have held several weddings at Casa Azul Profundo. For a wedding we have the capacity for up to 100 guests. The cost of the event would depend on the total number of people invited. For smaller weddings the fee may be waived depending on the number of nights you rent the house for. See Weddings

Yes. You can choose to hire the caterer and other wedding vendors on your own or we can recommend vendors that have previously held events at our house and that have previous recommendations. There is no extra cost associated in assisting you in coordinating your event. We have extensive information on weddings that you can request once you rent our villa. Just inquire.

Yes. We can help you arrange any activities such as fishing trips, snorkeling trips, zip line excursions, hiking, whale watching or any other service you may need.

How much should I tip the villa staff?2017-08-07T22:20:03+00:00

Gratuities are common in Mexico. Guests should tip based on the service that our staff provides. The general rule of thumb is 10-15% of the total rent for your stay. We recommend that each staff member be given their gratuity directly. We have envelopes available, should you wish to use them for providing gratuities. The staff appreciates any tips you give them!
